In 1879 the wine cellar Cvne was born, from the hands of two brothers, nowadays it continues regentando members of this family already in its fifth generation
The winery was designed by the famous architect of the Tore Eiffel, Aleixandre Gustave Eiffel, a true prodigy of his time, a ship without columns with a surprising way of securing the roof that is supported by metal trusses that go from one to the Other side of the walls.
With this ship so diaphanous all the works of the wine, racking, etc. are greatly facilitated.
Already in his first years of travel he obtains important prizes like the first prize of Universal Exhibition in Antwerp. In 1895 first prize in the Universal Exhibition in Bordeaux, in 1897 Gold Medal - International Exhibition Brussels, in 1900 Grand Prix - International Exhibition Paris.
In 1915 is born the first bottled wine of Spain the Monopol
The Imperial reserve is aged in oak barrels for 24 months and remains in bottles another 36 months before it goes on sale.
At sight is cherry color, with purple trim.
On the nose aromas of forest fruits, spicy touches such as thyme, licorice, clove and tobacco.
